## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 15, 2006, AT APPROXIMATELY 1210 HOURS PDT, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED ACTING AS PILOT IN COMMAND AND INSTRUCTOR FOR THE NATIONAL TEST PILOT SCHOOL, IN N606V, A BEECHCRAFT BE-35-33, FAILED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR PRIOR TO LANDING AT MOJAVE AIRPORT (MHV), MOJAVE, CA. THIS FLIGHT WAS A FAMILIARIZATION FLIGHT FOR CAPTAIN ^PRIVACY DATA OM^, A CANADIAN MILITARY ROTARY WING PILOT, WITH LESS EXPERIENCE WITH RETRACTABLE GEAR AIRCRAFT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES (EXCEPT TO PRIDE) AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
