## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB ANC06CA124](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/ANC06CA124), Aug 20, 2006: Champion 7GCBC (N1655G), Clear, AK, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain clearance from trees during the landing flare, which resulted in an in-flight collision with the trees.

## Other reports on N1655G (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19820713049529I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19820713049529I), Jul 13, 1982: Bbavia 7GCBC (N1655G), Fairbanks, AK, Minor damage. Aircraft yawed during climb when fabric came loose around right fuel tank with 9.2 hours since repairs one year ago

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
