THE PILOT STATED A MALFUNCTION OCCURRED WITH THE OXYGEN SYSTEM. THE RELEASE OF THE AIRCRAFT MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO VALIDATE THE OPINION PROVIDED BY THE PILOT. THE PILOT RESIDES IN GERMANY AND DOES NOT HAVE A ZIP CODE FOR THE DATA FIELD CONTAINED IN #31 ABOVE. AT THE TIME OF THIS REPORT, THE AIRFRAME HOURS WERE UNABLE TO BE OBTAINED FROM THE OWNER OF THE AIRCRAFT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB LAX06CA278](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/LAX06CA278), Aug 28, 2006: Glaser Dirks DG 300 (N302N), Truckee, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: the pilot's misjudged landing approach that led to a runway overshoot. A contributing factor was the pilot's hypoxic condition.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
