## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 08/28/06, AT APPROXIMATELY 1130, WHILE ENROUTE FROM SUS TO PVD AT FL350, 45 MILES EAST OF ALB, THE CAUTION ADVISORY ILLUMINATED FOR THE #2 ENGINE "JET PIPE" OVERHEAT. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH SEVEN PASSENGERS AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT DIFFICULTY. ARFF RESPONSE EQUIPMENT WAS STANDING BY. ON 08/28/2006, REPORTING FAA INSPECTOR HELD AN INTERVIEW WITH THE FLIGHT CREW FOR THE PURPOSE OF EXPLAINING THE EVENT, AND TO TRY AND DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF THE INCIDENT. ON 08/30/2006, MECHANIC FOUND #2 ENGINE JET PIPER FIRE LOOP DEFECTIVE AND REPLACED. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
