## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED HE WAS WORKING AG OPERATIONS FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES ON THIS FLIGHT. HE MADE A NORMAL FIELD ENTRY AND WAS ESTABLISHED ON HIS SPRAY RUN. THE LEFT TORQUE PEDAL WENT COMPLETELY FORWARD WITH NO RESPONSE AND THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN A SLOW ROTATION TO THE RIGHT. POWER WAS REDUCED AND AN EMERGENCY LANDING WAS ATTEMPTED IN THE COTTON FIELD BEING SPRAYED. JUST PRIOR TO TOUCHDOWN COLLECTIVE WAS INCREASED AND THE SHIP SAT DOWN IN THE COTTON FIELD WITH MINIMAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT AND NO INJURY TO THE PILOT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
