## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPT. 3, 2006, A BEECH MODEL BE-55 AIRCRAFT DEPARTED LAKE HAVASUE, AZ. WHILE ENROUTE TO GILLISPIE FIELD (SEE) THE PILOT EXPERIENCED TOTAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE. HE ATTEMPTED TO LOWER THE GEAR WITH THE MANUAL HAND CRANK. ALL GEAR INDICATED DOWN AND LOCKED. UPON LANDING THE PILOT REALIZED THAT THE NOSE GEAR HAD NOT EXTENDED. MINOR DAMAGE SUSTAINED TO NOSE GEAR DOORS AND FUSELAGE JUST FORWARD OF NOSE GEAR. BOTH PROPS ON BOTH ENGINES WERE BENT. ANNUAL INSPECTION PERFORMED ON 11/10/2005. THE PILOT WAS THE ONLY INDIVIDUAL ON BOARD AND WAS NOT INJURED. INVESTIGATION OF THIS INCIDENT REVEALED THAT THE FRONT NOSE WHEEL EXTENDING ARM BROKE AS THE AIRCRAFT LANDED. AN M OR D REPORT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
