## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2006, THE PILOT OF N40S, A CESSNA 337 SKYMASTER, ENROUTE FROM OKLAHOMA CITY, WILEY POST AIRPORT (KPWA) TO SEYMOUR, IN (KSER) EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF POWER ON THE REAR ENGINE OF THE AIRCRAFT APPROXIMATELY 12 NM FROM KSER AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY WITH ATC. THE PILOT SECURED THE REAR ENGINE, FOLLOWED SHORTLY THEREAFTER WITH THE SECURING OF THE FRONT ENGINE, AND EFFECTED A POWER OFF LANDING AT KSER. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY ON A RUNWAY AT KSER WITHOUT DAMAGE OR INJURY TO THE PILOT OR ANY OF HIS THREE PASSENGERS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
