## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE UNOCCUPIED, NOT UNDER POWER, AND NOT CHOCKED WITH THE PARKING BRAKE OFF, AIRCRAFT BEGAN ROLLING AND TRAVELED APPROXIMATELY 750 FEET BEFORE COLLIDING WITH THE AIRPORT PERIMETER FENCE. AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST WITH ITS NOSE HANGING OVER A BUSY THOROUGHFARE. NO INJURIES OR DAMAGE REPORTED OTHER THAN TO AIRCRAFT AND FENCE. THE AIRCRAFT HAD BEEN PREVIOUSLY PRE-POSITIONED FOR DEPARTURE THAT EVENING WITH ITS TAIL INTO A BRISK NORTHWEST WIND, READIED, SERVICED, CATERED AND PREFLIGHTED. THE FLIGHT CREW REMOVED THE CHOCKS. THE OWNER THEN NOTIFIED THE CREW OF HIS INTENTION TO REMAIN OVERNIGHT IN LAS VEGAS. THE FLIGHT CREW SECURED THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT INSTALLING THE WHEEL CHOCKS. FBO PERSONNEL DID NOT INSTALL THE WHEEL CHOCKS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
