## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT WAS GETTING READY FOR PUSHBACK AND GROUND EQUIPMENT IN THE PROCESS OF BEING CLEARED FROM THE AREA WHEN EVERGREEN GROUND SERVICES EMPLOYEE ^PRIVACY DAT^ DROVE A TUG THAT WAS TOWING GROUND STAIRS NEAR THE RIGHT WING AND DAMAGED THE WINGTIP AND THE NAVIGATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY WITH THE TOP END OF THE STAIRS. THE PICTURES TAKEN AFTER THE INCIDENT APPEAR TO SHOW THAT THE DRIVER WAS TRAVELING AT A SPEED GREATER THAN THE 5MPH LIMIT REQUIRED BY EVERGREEN GROUND SERVICES PROCEDURES. ^PRIVACY DA^ DRUG TEST RESULTS WERE NEGATIVE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
