## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N684BR, CL-600-2B1, WAS BEING OPERATED BY ATLANTIC SOUTHEAST AIRLINES AS DELTA CONNECTION FLIGHT 4418, FROM OMA TO ATL. THE CREW REPORTED THAT THE NOSE GEAR FAILED TO RETRACT AFTER DEPARTURE FROM OMA. THE CREW COMPLIED WITH THE QRH, AND REPORTED THAT ALL OTHER INDICATIONS WERE NORMAL. THE AIRPLANE CIRCLED FOR TWO HOURS TO BURN OFF FUEL. THE CREW LANDED THE AIRPLANE WITHOUT INCIDENT. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE NOSE GEAR AND FOUND NO DAMAGE NOR VISIBLE GEAR DISCREPANCIES. THE NOSE GEAR WAS DEFERRED PER MEL 32-30-01. THE AIRPLANE WAS FERRIED TO ATL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
