## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED THAT HE LANDED GEAR UP DURING A VFR APPROACH INTO SMOKETOWN AIRPORT (S37). DURING THE FLARE THE PILOT HEARD A WARNING HORN AND ASSUMED IT TO BE THE STALL WARNING. THE PILOT REALIZED AFTER CONTACT WITH THE RUNWAY THAT IT WAS THE GEAR WARNING HORN THAT WAS ACTIVE. ONE SOUL ON BOARD, NO INJURIES, MINOR DAMAGE TO THE BELLY OF THE AIRCRAFT, FLAPS, AND PROP TIPS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
