## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WITNESS STATED THAT THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA^ HAD MADE SEVERAL LOW PASSES OVER A PRIVATE AIRSTRIP THAT WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT, THESE LOW PASSES WERE FOLLOWED BY VERY STEEP PULL-UPS, THE AIRCRAFT WRECKAGE WAS LOCATED IN THE TREES ABOUT 200 YARDS EAST AND ABEAM THE SOUTH END OF THIS AIRSTRIP. ON-SCENE INVESTIGATION OF THE WRECKAGE REVEALED THE ENGINE WAS DEVELOPING POWER AT THE TIME OF IMPACT WITH THE TREES. THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO BREAK APART AS IT DESCENDED THROUGH THE BRANCHES, THE MAIN FUSELAGE IMPACTED THE TRUNK OF A LARGE TREE APPROXIMATELY SIX FEET FROM THE GROUND, BOTH OCCUPANTS WERE FATALLY INJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB DFW07LA026](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/DFW07LA026), Nov 23, 2006: Keesler Pulsar (N115SE), Alvarado, TX, destroyed, 2 fatal. Probable cause: The pilot's improper handling of the airplane while manuevering at a low altitude, which resulted in an inadvertant stall.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
