## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT DEPARTED JOHNSON COUNTY EXECUTIVE AIRPORT (OJC) ENROUTE TO MORITZ MEMORIAL AIRPORT, BELOIT, KANSAS (K61). UPON ARRIVAL AT THE DESTINATION, THE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO PROVIDE A POSITIVE GEAR DOWN INDICATION. THE PILOT WAS UNABLE TO RESOLVE THE LANDING GEAR PROBLEM AND RETURNED TO OJC FOR AN EMERGENCY LANDING. AFTER TOUCHDOWN, THE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED RESULTING IN MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE. DURING THE INVESTIGATION OF THIS INCIDENT, A TEST OF THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM WAS CONDUCTED. AT THAT TIME, THE LANDING GEAR SYSTEM FUNCTIONED NORMALLY. INCIDENT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ IS CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
