## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 26, 2006, DELTA FLIGHT 1523, A/C N912DN, MD-90, DEPARTED BNA FOR SLC. AT FL 135 THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTED A LOSS OF ALL ELECTRICAL POWER EXCEPT FOR BATTERY POWER. THE A/C LOST PRESSURIZATION BUT NO MASKS DEPLOYED. THEY STARTED THE APU AND RECOVERED THE LEFT AND RIGHT BUSSES. THE CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND RETURNED TO BNA. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FOUND THE SHAFT SHEARED IN THE RIGHT GENERATOR AND A "LEFT GENERATOR DIODE FAIL" MESSAGE ON THE LEFT GENERATOR. MAINTENANCE REPLACED THE RIGHT GENERATOR, ELECTRICAL POWER CONTROL UNIT (EPCU), ELECTRONICS ASSEMBLY CONVERTER, AND THE LEFT GENERATOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
