## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT WAS OPERATING ON AN IFR FLIGHT PLAN FROM REDDING CA TO FULLERTON CA. ON APPROACH TO RUNWAY 06, THE ENGINE LOST POWER AND THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK TWO UNOCCUPIED HOMES CAUSING EXTENSIVE A/C DAMAGE.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB LAX07FA049](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/LAX07FA049), Nov 27, 2006: Beech B36TC (N3144D), Buena Park, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: a fuel starvation induced loss of engine power due to pilot's inadequate fuel system management.

## Other reports on N3144D (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19940309012409I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19940309012409I), Mar 9, 1994: Beech B36TC (N3144D), State College, PA, Minor damage. Pilot landed long on snow covered runway. Poor braking. Departed end of runway into snow.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
