## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N7406Y WAS ON FINAL APPROACH TO RUNWAY 2C AT NASHVILLE INTERNATIONAL. PILOT STATED THAT HE ACCOMPLISHED LANDING CHECKLIST BUT DID NOT ENSURE LANDING GEAR DOWN. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA O^ STATED THAT THE GUSTY WIND AND BLOWING SNOW CAUSED HIM NOT TO NOTE THE GEAR DOWN INDICATION. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH THE LANDING GEAR ONLY PARTIALLY DOWN. SUBSEQUENT MAINTENANCE DETERMINED THAT THE LANDING GEAR MOTOR WAS SEIZED AND THE GEAR CIRCUIT BREAKER HAD POPPED. THE LANDING GEAR DOWN LIGHT WAS ALSO FOUND TO BE BURNED OUT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
