## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT AND ONLY OCCUPANT WAS UNABLE TO GET A SAFE GEAR CONDITION ON APPROACH TO ASPEN, CO. HE DIVERTED TO JEFFCO AIRPORT (BJC) BROOMFIELD, CO DUE TO BETTER FACILITIES. A TOWER FLY-BY CONFIRMED THE NOSE GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED BUT BOTH MAIN GEARS WERE NOT. THE PILOT MADE A MAIN GEAR UP LANDING ON RW 29R. THE AIRCRAFT REMAINED ON THE RW THROUGHOUT THE LANDING AND CAME TO REST NEAR TAXIWAY A2. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MAJOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT HORIZONTAL STABILIZER AND MINOR DAMAGE TO THE GEAR DOORS AND UNDERSIDE OF THE TAIL BOOM. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB DEN07CA039](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/DEN07CA039), Dec 25, 2006: Cessna T210M (N6051N), Broomfield, CO, substantial damage. Probable cause: the failure of the mechanic to comply with the required replacement schedule resulting in the failure of the hydraulic line and the resulting gear up landing.

## Other reports on N6051N (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19880114004829I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19880114004829I), Jan 14, 1988: Cessna T210M (N6051N), Boise, ID. On initial approach to airport pilot had complete power failure. Landed on highway. Cause undetermined.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
