## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON DECEMBER 29, 2006 IN THE MORNING AT NAPLES AIRPORT, FLORIDA, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OM^ OWNER AND OPERATOR OF HIS AMATEUR BUILT VELOCITY HX AIRCRAFT N503PB DEPARTED ON RUNWAY 5 AND ALPHA 3 WITH 2 PASSENGERS. AIRCRAFT BLEW A RIGHT MAIN TIRE ON TAKEOFF ROLL. PILOT TRIED TO MAINTAIN CONTROL BUT COULD NOT AND WENT INTO THE GRASS ON THE SIDE. NO INJURIES TO ANYONE ON BOARD.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
