## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JANUARY 15, 2007 THE PILOT CFI ^PRIVACY DATA^ WAS PROVIDING INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT IN A MULTI-ENGINE AIRPLANE FOR PRIVATE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA O^. ON TAKE-ROLL ROLL ON RUNWAY 23, THE PILOT CFI ^PRIVA^ PULLED THE LEFT ENGINE MIXTURE TO SIMULATE AN ENGINE OUT CONDITION. THE AIRCRAFT VEERED SHARPLY TO THE LEFT AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY AND STRIKING THE VASI CONTROL BOX. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE LEFT ENGINE PROPELLER TIP, RIGHT FLAP, AND RIGHT ENGINE COWL. NEITHER THE PILOT ^PRIVA^ NOR ^PRIVACY^ SUSTAINED ANY INJURIES. NOTE: DUE TO THE DESIGN OF THE BE-95, APPLICATION OF THE BRAKES IS NOT AVAILABLE FROM THE RIGHT FRONT SEAT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
