## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DUECE 03 HAD NAVIGATIONAL PROBLEMS DUE TO AN EQUIPMENT MALFUNCTION AT THE ARG VORTAC WHILE ROUND ROBIN TO BAD, CONFLICTING WITH FDX941. ZME-ARTCC-74 GAVE INSTRUCTIONS TO FDX 941 TO TURN TO A HEADING OF 360 TO AVOID DUECE 03 AND DUECE 03 WAS GIVEN AN AMENDED ALTITUDE OF FL260 AND GIVEN A HEADING DIRECT TO TXK. SEPARATION WAS LOST AND THE CLOSEST PROXIMITY WAS 4.99 MILES AND 700 FEET.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
