## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 01/19/07 AT 1135EST COMAIR FLIGHT 5385 DIVERTED AND LANDED ON RUNWAY 34 AFTER REPORTING A NUMBER 2 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FAILURE WHILE ENROUTE FROM LAGUARDIA, NY TO CHARLESTON, SC. THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL DETERMINED THAT THE NUMBER 2 HYDRAULIC SYSTEM CASE DRAIN TUBE ASSEMBLY HAD FAILED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
