## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED THAT AFTER EXTENDING THE LANDING GEAR, HE HAD THREE GREEN LIGHTS. HE STATED THAT THE MAIN GEAR GREEN LIGHT WENT OUT. HE THEN RECYCLED THE GEAR AND THE LEFT AND RIGHT MAIN GEAR GREEN LIGHTS REMAINED OUT. HE THEN FLEW BY THE TOWER AND THEY TOLD HIM THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. ANOTHER AIRCRAFT ALSO OBSERVED THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. HE THEN WENT THROUGH THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION CHECKLIST. AFTER LANDING, THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED ON THE MAIN GEAR FOR A FEW HUNDRED FEET. THEN THE LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED FOLLOWED BY THE RIGHT MAIN AND THEN THE NOSE GEAR. THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AT ABOUT 25 KTS. THERE WAS NO INJURY TO THE PILOT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB NYC07LA061](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/NYC07LA061), Jan 31, 2007: Cessna 310Q (N20SS), Atlantic City, NJ, substantial damage. Probable cause: The inoperative safe gear indicator light switch. Contributing to the accident was the pilot hand-cranking the landing gear past the physical stop.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
