## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEBRUARY 01, 2007 AT 1041 LOCAL TIME, AIRCRAFT N16520, FLIGHT 2620, WHILE ENROUTE FROM HOUSTON, TEXAS (HOU) TO WICHITA, KS (ICT), THE PILOT, CAPTAIN ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ REPORTED THAT WHEN HE WAS ABOUT 10 MILES OUT FROM WICHITA MID-CONTINENT AIRPORT HE RECEIVED A FLAPS MESSAGE ON EICAS DURING DESCENT, FLAPS STUCK AT ZERO. THE PILOT CAPTAIN ^PRIVAC^ CONTACTED THE CONTROL TOWER AND DECLARED AN EMERGENCY. THE TOWER THEN NOTIFIED PUBLIC SAFETY AT APPROXIMATELY 1041 LOCAL TIME. AIRCRAFT LANDED UNEVENTFULLY AT ICT. THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO GATE 3, AND A VISUAL INSPECTION WAS PERFORMED, NO DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS FOUND. AN AIRCRAFT LOGBOOK ENTRY WAS WRITTEN ON PAGE 216411 BY THE CREW MEMBER, AND CONTRACT MAINTENANCE WAS NOTIFIED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
