## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON FEBRUARY 4, 2007 TAMPA CARGO AIRLINES (COLUMBIA) REPORTED TO THE FAA MIAMI INTERNATIONAL FIELD OFFICE (IFO), THAT THEIR DC-8-71F AIRCRAFT, REGISTRATION HK-4277, SERIAL NUMBER 45976, EXPERIENCED A RIGHT HAND MAIN LANDING GEAR (MLG) COLLAPSE DURING LANDING ROLL AT MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM RUNWAY 00R TO A MAINTENANCE FACILITY FOR EVALUATION. IT WAS REPORTED THAT THERE WERE NO INJURIES AMONGST THE THREE OCCUPANTS OF THE AIRPLANE. DURING THE LANDING AND SUBSEQUENT RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR (RMLG) COLLAPSE, ENGINE COWLS 3 AND 4 CONTACTED THE RUNWAY. NO FIRE WAS REPORTED AND NO RETARDANT WAS DISPERSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
