(-23) AFTER TAKEOFF, WHEN LANDING GEAR LEVER WAS SELECTED TO THE UP POSITION, THE LANDING GEAR REMAINED IN THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO MDT AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. THE LANDING GEAR CONTROL LEVER WAS REPLACED, AND SUBSEQUENT OPS AND FUNCTIONAL CHECKS WERE SATISFACTORY.
