## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 03/05/07 AT APPROXIMATELY 0830 HOURS, AIRCRAFT N417TT DEPARTED CXO ON RUNWAY 32. DURING CLIMB AT 1000' BAR ALT INDICATED, THE ENGINE STOPPED CAUSING A COMPLETE LOSS OF POWER. THE PILOT LOCATED AN OPENING IN THE TREES AND ATTEMPTED TO LAND IN AN OPEN PASTURE. THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A TREE AND A WIRE FENCE WHICH SLOWED FORWARD SPEED AND ALLOWED MINIMAL IMPACT FORCE. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS MINOR. NO INJURIES TO PILOT OR PAX.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
