## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MARCH 8, 2007, AT 1100 CST, COMMERCIAL PILOT ^PRIVACY DA^ WAS CONDUCTING AGRICULTURAL AIRCRAFT SPRAYING OPERATIONS UNDER TITLE 14 CFR 137 IN N9001F A WEATHERLY AIRCRAFT, WHEN HE IMPACTED A SMALL EMBANKMENT IN THE MIDDLE OF A FIELD ABOUT 20 MILES WEST NORTHWEST OF HEREFORD, TEXAS. THE PILOT NOTICED THE RIGHT MAIN GEAR HAD SHEARED OFF THE AIRCRAFT, AND THE LEFT MAIN WAS BADLY DAMAGED BUT STILL ATTACHED. THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO FLY TO THE HEREFORD AIRPORT WHERE HE MADE AN EMERGENCY LANDING ON RUNWAY 21. AT 1320 CST THE WEATHER WAS BETTER THAN 5000 FEET CEILING AND BETTER THAN 5 MILES VISIBILITY. THE WINDS WERE 210 DEGREES AT 15 KNOTS, GUSTING TO 20 KNOTS. THE TEMPERATURE WAS 20 DEGREES CELSIUS AND THE DEW POINT WAS 4 DEGREES. THE BAROMETRIC PRESSURE WAS 30.02 INCHES OF MERCURY. THE PILOT LANDED ON RUNWAY 21 AT 1130 CST WITH EMERGENCY CREWS STANDING BY. THERE WERE NO INJURIES. THE PILOT REPORTED MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
