## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) CESSNA N79286 WAS DOING A TOUCH AND GO LANDING ON RUNWAY 17 AT BOERNE STAGE AIRPORT. CESSNA N766DP WAS ON FINAL APPROACH TO RUNWAY 17, BEHIND N79286. THE PILOT OF N766DP INITIATED A GO-AROUND MANEUVER BUT FAILED TO ALTER COURSE TO THE RIGHT. AT APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET AGL, WHILE CLIMBING OUT STRAIGHT AHEAD AFTER COMPLETING A TOUCH AND GO LANDING, N79286 CLIMBED INTO THE PATH OF N766DP AND THE LEFT HORIZONTAL STABILIZER WAS STRUCK BY THE PROPELLER OF N766DP. BOTH AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER DAMAGE. N79286 SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE, AND N766DP SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO EITHER PILOT OR PASSENGER.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB DFW07LA082](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/DFW07LA082), Mar 8, 2007: Cessna T210R (N766DP), Boerne, TX, minor damage. Probable cause: The pilot of the other airplane's failure to maintain proper spacing during approach to landing and subsequent go-around, which resulted in a midair collision.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
