## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AS STATED BY THE PILOT, HE LANDED TOO FAR DOWN THE RUNWAY, AND TOO FAST. WHEN HE STARTED APPLYING THE BRAKES, THE AIRCRAFT JUST WOULDN'T STOP, AND WENT OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY, INTO THE DITCH, AND UP THE RAILROAD EMBANKMENT, WHERE IT CAME TO REST. THE PILOT DID NOT COMPLAIN OF ANY MECHANICAL PROBLEMS WITH THE BRAKES, AND THE ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION AND MAINTENANCE RECORDS REVIEW ALSO DID NOT REVEAL ANY MECHANICAL MALFUNCTIONS, EITHER. THE PROPELLER ONLY SHOWED NON-ROTATIONAL DAMAGE, INDICATING THAT A GO-AROUND HAD NOT BEEN INITIATED.
