## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE SKYDIVING IN FORMATION, A PARACHUTIST COLLIDED WITH A SECOND PARACHUTIST, STRIKING HIM IN THE CHEST WITH HIS HEAD, TEMPORARILY DISORIENTING HIMSELF. THE PARACHUTIST RELEASED HIS MAIN CHUTE AND DEPLOYED HIS EMERGENCY CHUTE TOO CLOSE TO THE GROUND. THE EMERGENCY CHUTE DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH ALTITUDE TO OPEN AND ALLOW FOR A SAFE LANDING, FATALLY INJURING THE PARACHUTIST. 1. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED 2. 1700 JUMPS 3. SKYDIVE TEMPLE 4. TEMPO 210, PACKED ON 03/05/07 BY ^PRIVACY DAT^. SENIOR RIGGER #462272920, SEAL SYMBOL PAN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
