## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AFTER LANDING FROM THE EAST ON RUNWAY 25L (SOUTH RUNWAY) AND WHILE STILL ON THE TOWER FREQUENCY, AIRCRAFT N1823 TURNED NORTH ONTO TAXI B-9 WHICH RUNS NORTH AND SOUTH BETWEEN TWO RUNWAYS 25L AND 25R. IMMEDIATELY AFTER TURNING ONTO TAXIWAY B-9 THE PIC OF N1823 NOTICED A HIGH WING CESSNA COMING DIRECTLY AT HIM ABOUT 40 FEET AWAY. THE PIC STATED THAT HE APPLIED THE BRAKES TOO HARD AND THE AIRCRAFT WENT UP ON ITS NOSE. THERE WAS NO CONTACT OR NEAR CONTACT BETWEEN AIRCRAFT. THE PIC LOST VISUAL CONTACT WITH CESSNA WHEN HIS AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER. RUNWAY 25L AND 25R HAVE DIFFERENT CONTROLLERS. SEE ATTACHED AIRPORT DIAGRAM.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
