## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE FLYING FROM 1B9 TO SFM THE PILOT REPORTED A LOSS OF OIL PRESSURE AS HE ENTERED PSM AIR SPACE. RADIOING THE PSM ATC HE REPORTED HE HAD A PROBLEM AND WOULD TRY TO MAKE THE PSM AIRPORT WHICH WAS 3 TO 4 MILES AWAY. REALIZING HE WOULD NOT MAKE THE AIRPORT HE CHOSE THE GREENLAND GOLF COURSE FAIRWAY FOR AN EMERGENCY LANDING. THERE WERE NO INJURIES OR AIRCRAFT DAMAGE EXCEPT FOR THE APPARENT ENGINE FAILURE EVIDENT BY THE OIL DRIPPING FROM THE COWLING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
