## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 04/28/07, DURING A NORMAL LANDING SEQUENCE TO RUNWAY 13 AT BAY CITH MUNICIPAL (BYY), N44SP EXPERIENCED A NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSE OF UNKNOWN CAUSES. AFTER THE MAIN LANDING GEAR HAD TOUCHED DOWN, AND THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED OUT, THE PILOT FELT THERE WAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE NOSE LANDING GEAR AND KEPT THE NOSE UP AS LONG AS POSSIBLE UNTIL CONTACT WAS MADE WITH THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM THE RUNWAY BY GROUND PERSONNEL AND PLACED IN A LOCAL HANGAR. ON 05/01/07 THE AIRCRAFT WAS INSPECTED AND FOUND TO HAVE THE LANDING GEAR MOTOR CIRCUIT BREAKER OPEN AND THE MAIN LANDING GEAR DOORS POSITIONED IN A MANNER SHOWING AN INCOMPLETE CYCLE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
