## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT/OWNER WAS LANDING ON RWY 22L @ FFZ IN A CROSSWIND WHEN A GUST ("DUST DEVIL") OF WIND CAUGHT THE TAIL OF THE AIRCRAFT CAUSING THE R/H WING TIP TO SCRAPE THE GROUND. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE TWO OCCUPANTS. THE REMAINDER OF THE LANDING/ROLL-OUT WAS UNEVENTFUL. THE PILOT/OWNER TAXIED THE AIRCRAFT TO HIS T-HANGAR ON FFZ. DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT WAS CONSIDERED MINOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
