## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WAS PILOT IN COMMAND OF AIRCRAFT N97224. HE WAS GIVING FLIGHT INSTRUCTION TO A STUDENT PILOT. THE STUDENT WAS PERFORMING A CROSSWIND LANDING ON RUNWAY 33 AT DUPAGE AIRPORT (KDPA), WEST CHICAGO, ILLINOIS. THE AIRCRAFT'S MAIN WHEELS TOUCHED DOWN FIRST, THEN THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED INTO THE AIR. THE RIGHT WING HIT THE GROUND AND THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ INSTRUCTED THE STUDENT TO GO AROUND. DURING THE GO AROUND THE LEFT WING HIT THE GROUND AND THE AIRCRAFT GROUND LOOPED TO A STOP IN THE GRASS. THERE WAS SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT, AND NO INJURIES.
