## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED AFTER THE DESCENT FROM 7000FT TO TPA, THERE WASN'T ANY RESPONSE FROM THE ENGINE. THE AIRCRAFT HIT THE TOP OF A JUNK YARD VAN, HIT AN ELECTRIC POLE WITH THE LEFT WING, SHEARED OFF A 4 OR 5 INCH ELM TREE WITH RIGHT WING THEN PROCEEDED THRU A CHAIN LINK FENCE. AIRCRAFT TURNED 180 DEGREES, AND STOPPED ON A COUNTY ROAD.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI07LA129](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI07LA129), May 3, 2007: Cessna 210 (N7462E), Vienna, OH, substantial damage. Probable cause: Loss of engine power during approach for undetermined reasons. Unsuitable terrain encountered during the forced landing and a vehicle were factors.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
