## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS DEPARTING A SMALL AIRSTRIP, ABOUT 65 MILES NW OF GLENNALLEN, AK, IN HIS WHEEL-EQUIPPED CE-185. THE SURFACE OF THE STRIP WAS WET AND SOFT. THE WEATHER WAS VFR WITH VARIABLE WINDS UP TO 8 KNOTS AND SOME WINDSHEAR. THE PILOT STATED THE TAKEOFF WAS NORMAL UNTIL AFTER LIFT-OFF. THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED INTO THE WILLOW BUSHES, CONTACTED A SMALL SPRUCE TREE, AND FLIPPED OVER. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE BUT NEITHER THE PILOT NOR HIS ONE PASSENGER WAS INJURED.
