## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) APA AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL REPORTED THE AIRCRAFT ON GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS) APPROACH FOR RUNWAY 28 WITH STRONG WINDS OUT OF THE SOUTH, 170 DEGREES AT 15 KNOTS GUSTING TO 25 KNOTS. THE PILOT STILL ELECTED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 28. THE AIRCRAFT WENT OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY, FLATTENING BOTH MAIN TIRES, BREAKING OFF A RUNWAY END LIGHT AND DAMAGING A RIGHT SIDE FLAP. THIS WAS A MILITARY FLIGHT IDENTIFIED AS CALL SIGN RAATR 36.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
