## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON-SCENE INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE BEECH V35B (1835L) AND CESSNA 172N (N6614D) STRUCK ONE ANOTHER WHILE FLYING IN THE VICINITY OF BLUE ASH AIRPORT (ISZ). THE CESSNA WAS DESTROYED FOLLOWING AN UNCONTROLLED DESCENT AND SUBSEQUENT IMPACT WITH A TREE AND TERRAIN ON SQUIRE HILL COURT, LOCATED IN SHARONVILLE, OH. LIKEWISE, THE BEECH WAS DESTROYED FOLLOWING AN UNCONTROLLED DESCENT AND IMPACT WITH EAST KEMPTER ROAD, ALSO LOCATED IN SHARONVILLE, OH. BOTH THE CERTIFICATED FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR AND PRIVATE PILOT ABOARD THE CESSNA SUSTAINED FATAL INJURIES, AS DID THE PRIVATE PILOT OPERATING THE BEECH.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB CHI07FA140](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/CHI07FA140), May 11, 2007: Beech V35B (N1835L), Sharonville, OH, destroyed, 3 fatal. Probable cause: The inadequate visual lookout of the pilots in both airplanes and their not maintaining clearance from each others airplane during climb.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
