APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES LATER HE AGAIN BROADCAST THAT HE WAS HAVING FUEL PROBLEMS AND THAT HE WAS GOING FOR A STRAIGHT IN ON RUNWAY 30. FIVE MILES SOUTH EAST OF THE AIRPORT, THE AIRCRAFT LEFT WING CAME INTO CONTACT WITH THE ROOF OF A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE BARN. THE AIRCRAFT INVERTED AND CRASHED ABOUT 20 FEET NORTH OF THE BARN. THE SOLE OCCUPANT (PILOT) SUFFERED FATAL INJURIES. NO FIRE ENSUED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB SEA07LA129](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/SEA07LA129), May 20, 2007: SIAI-Marchetti FN-333 (N95DR), Minden, NV, substantial damage, 1 fatal. Probable cause: The loss of engine power as a result of fuel starvation due to the pilot's improper positioning of the fuel selector and failure to select a tank containing fuel.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
