## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT REPORTED THAT ON FINAL APPROACH TO PHX, GEAR WAS SELECTED DOWN BUT FAILED TO EXTEND. HE THEN REPORTED TO ATC AND PROCEEDED TO GO AROUND FOR ANOTHER LANDING ATTEMPT WHILE MANUALLY EXTENDING THE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT PHX, COMING TO A FULL STOP. ON EXAMINATION OF THE AIRCRAFT, IT WAS NOTED THE LANDING GEAR DOORS NEEDED TO BE SECURE. THE AIRCRAFT TAXIED BACK TO ITS HANGAR UNDER ITS OWN POWER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
