## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT WAS ON FINAL APPROACH FOR LANDING, AND HAD SELECTED 20 DEGREES OF WING FLAPS "AS IT WAS GUSTY." OVER THE END OF THE RUNWAY HE REDUCED ENGINE POWER TO IDLE, AND FLARED. THE AIRCRAFT, A BEECHCRAFT DUCHESS BE-76, BOUNCED, BECAME AIRBORNE ONCE AGAIN, AND TOUCHED DOWN NOSE WHEEL FIRST. THE AIRPLANE THEN VEERED LEFT, AND STRUCK A TAXIWAY SIGN, RESULTING IN SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRPLANE. NOTE: THERE WAS NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT OR CO PILOT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
