## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT WAS PARKED AT GATE F-10 AT THE MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT WHEN A SQUALL WEATHER SYSTEM MOVED INTO THE AREA. THE AIRCRAFT HAD ITS PASSENGER DOOR OPEN AT THE JETWAY WHEN APPROXIMATELY 50 MPH WINDS BLEW THE TAIL APPROXIMATELY 12 FEET TO THE LEFT, MAKING THE NOSE PIVOT 12 FEET TO THE RIGHT. THE OPEN DOOR CAUGHT THE JETWAY, BENDING THE UPPER HINGE. THE NOSE MADE CONTACT WITH THE POWER CART CAUSING SOME SCRATCHES AND A SMALL DENT THAT WAS ADDRESSED RIGHT AWAY. REPAIRS WERE MADE AT THE GATE AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO TRINIDAD.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
