## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE AIRCRAFT BRAKES FAILED WHILE TAXIING. THE PILOT STEERED THE AIRCRAFT OFF THE TAXIWAY INTO THE GRASS. THE AIRCRAFT HIT TAXIWAY SIGNS DAMAGING THE LEFT AND RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE. A REPAIR FACILITY DETERMINED THE CAUSE OF THE BRAKE FAILURE TO BE A MISALIGNED BRAKE FLUID SUPPLY LINE FITTING ON THE PILOT'S BRAKE MASTER CYLINDERS. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED 6/13/07 BUT THE PILOT DID NOT REPORT IT UNTIL 09/20/07 AFTER RECEIVING THE AIRCRAFT BACK FROM THE REPAIR SHOP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
