## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THIS PARTICULAR FAR 135 FLIGHT FOR HUNTER AIR INC. CERT. #Z8WA, ORIGINATED AT THE SANDPOINT, IDAHO AIRPORT (SZT) VFR TO SPOKANE, WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (KGEG). IN A TELEPHONE INTERVIEW, THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED HE LANDED N889WT WITH THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED ON RUNWAY 21 IN SPOKANE. HE ADDED HE FELT RUSHED BY ATC DUE TO BUSY JET AIRCRAFT LANDINGS AND DEPARTURES, AND HAD RETRACTED THE LANDING GEAR TO INCREASE THE AIRCRAFT'S SPEED TO CONFORM WITH OTHER TRAFFIC. HE DOES HOWEVER TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE GEAR UP LANDING AND DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO WEAR ON THE FLOAT'S KEEL WEAR STRIP. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO EITHER THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ OR HIS PASSENGER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
