## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT STATED HE WAS TAKING OFF ON RWY 30 AT 60 MPH. THE AIRCRAFT GOT AIRBORNE AND AT ABOUT 100 THE AIRCRAFT JUST QUIT FLYING. HE SAID HE WAS TOO LOW TO RECOVER FROM THE STALL. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST WITHIN 1000 FEET FROM THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND ABOUT 90 TO THE RIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE RIGHT, THE RIGHT WING IMPACTED THE GROUND FIRST AND THEN FOLLOWED BY THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT AND ALL OF THE DEBRIS WERE LOCATED WITHIN 24 FEET OF THE INITIAL IMPACT POINT INDICATING THE FORWARD SPEED OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS VERY SLOW. THE PILOT ALSO STATED THE WINDS WERE GUSTY. A PILOT READY FOR TAKE-OFF SAW THE ACCIDENT AND INDICATED THAT IT LOOKED LIKE THE AIRCRAFT TRIED TO TAKEOFF TOO FAST AND STALLED OUT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB LAX07CA194](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/LAX07CA194), Jun 27, 2007: Aeronca 7AC (N1054E), Fresno, CA, substantial damage. Probable cause: the pilot's failure to maintain an adequate airspeed, which resulted in a stall.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
