## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE OPERATING AT FL320 THE PILOT OF N695GG NOTICED FUMES COMING FROM THE AIRCRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM. A SIMILAR PROBLEM HAD OCCURRED IN THIS AIRCRAFT SEVERAL YEARS EARLIER AND THE PILOT RECOGNIZED THE PROBLEM. THE PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND REQUESTED A DESCENT AND TO PROCEED TO LEXINGTON KY. WHEN THE ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM WAS TURNED OFF THE FUMES STOPPED ENTERING THE CABIN AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AT LEXINGTON WITHOUT INCIDENT. THERE WERE SIX SOULS ON BOARD THE AIRCRAFT INCLUDING THE PILOT AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
