## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT OF AN AGRICULTURAL AIRCRAFT LOADED FOR SPRAYING, ATTEMPTED TO TAKE OFF ON A GRASS RUNWAY WITH A SLIGHT TAIL WIND. IN DOING SO, THE AIRCRAFT LIFTED OFF BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO CLIMB DUE TO ITS WEIGHT AND PERFORMANCE CAPABILITIES. THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED BACK TO THE GROUND BEFORE THE PILOT COULD 'DUMP' HIS HOPPER WHICH WAS AT CAPACITY WITH CHEMICAL PRODUCT FOR AERIAL SPRAYING. THE AIRCRAFT THEREAFTER STRUCK A DRAINAGE DITCH AND FLIPPED OVER IN THE ADJACENT CORN FIELD. THE AIRCRAFT WAS DESTROYED AS A RESULT OF THE EVENT AND THE PILOT'S MOST SERIOIUS INJURY WAS A BROKEN LEG. THE REPORT IS BEING SUBMITTED TO CLOSE ACCIDENT REPORT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.
