## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT LANDED AT CGE ON RWY 16. THE PILOT STATED THERE WAS A CROSSWIND AND HE COULD NOT CONTROL THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT GROUND-LOOPED. IT CAME TO REST ON THE LEFT MAIN GEAR AND THE RIGHT WING TIP, SINCE THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THERE WAS NO INJURY TO THE PILOT AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROP, RIGHT WING TIP, RIGHT AILERON, AND THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
