## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT CIRCLED THE AIRPORT TO LOSE ALTITUDE FOR LANDING. THE PILOT SAID THAT HE WAS "HIGH" ON THE APPROACH AND HIS AIRSPEED WAS "A LITTLE FAST." HE TOUCHED DOWN ON RUNWAY 17 JUST BEYOND MID FIELD. HE TRIED TO "GROUND LOOP" THE AIRCRAFT JUST BEFORE HE REACHED THE END OF THE RUNWAY TO AVOID A FENCE. AS THE AIRCRAFT TURNED TO THE LEFT, THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR, THE RIGHT WING TIP, RIGHT FLAP AND RIGHT AILERON.
